When I started seriously dating the man that is now my fabulous husband, I told him that I love cooking, a lot (wife points). I found a passion for the kitchen when I was just 5 years old, and I haven't stopped baking or cooking ever since.

As I embarked on the journey towards stealing my husband's heart through the food I put on his plate, I realized that I could not only cook the vegan, gluten free, carb free, sugar free way, or at least not all the time. He is a man, too many greens on a platter just will not cut it for him; protein and carbs are an essential part of most men’s diets, and in my eyes, with limits. What I cook, my food has to be approved by my husband, and sustain him throught the entire day. The more young couples my husband and I associated with, the more I was cooking, as our friends kept asking me for my recipes after our dinner parties. Having grown up with incredible food cook by my beautiful mother, I learned fast. I knew what junk food was, and I always avoided it.
