GREEN PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

Though I am addicted to almond butter, I figured I'd give hazelnut butter some love, too. I found some incredible brands of nut butters here in Geneva, all natural, without any added sugars. Hazelnut butter is like nutella but without the chocolate and sugar - and it's sooo good. I am working on a post about all of the ingredible natural health foods that are available here in Switzerland.
After a great Saturday morning workout, I made my husband and I a creamy, nutty smoothie and he was in charge of the eggs. I added two Brazil nuts, as they are super high in selenium, protein, potassium and magnesium, and an amazing replenishment after a hard workout.
Husband approved.
Serves 2.
Ingredients:
1 cup of kale
2 cups of spinach
1 banana
2 Brazil nuts
2 tbsp hazelnut butter
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 dates
1 1/2 cups of water or almond milk
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy.
