I found this gorgeous jar of black sesame tahini a few days ago at a Bio supermarket in France. I love the taste of black sesame seeds but have never seen this type of tahini before. I have been on a recent kick of adding tahini to my salad dressings and wanted to give this one a try! I made an Asian slaw using celery root a few weeks ago and it was so refreshing that I have been adding it to all of my salads lately!
Yesterday I shaved some celery root and carrots, added some fresh sprouts I had, half an avocado, and topped the salad with black tahini and meyer lemon juice. It was so light and delicious!
1 cup shaved celery root
1/2 cup shaved carrots
1/2 avocado, chopped
1/2 cup sprouts
2 tbsp meyer lemon juice
1 tbsp black sesame tahini
Add all ingredients into a serving bowl. Top with lemon juice and tahini and mix well.
